We all know that cleaning isn’t the nicest job to be doing but we all know it has to be done here are 5 ways in which you can keep your kitchen clean.
Split Cleaning Jobs Up
If you split your cleaning jobs up then it will become easier to do as you are then not trying to do all the cleaning jobs at the same time. If you try and do them all at the same time you might forget which bit you have cleaned or not cleaned and then it can become stressful.
If you have a cleaning schedule in place it means that you know what parts you need to clean up each week e.g. 1 week you could clean the floor , the next week you could clean the catering equipment etc. It also makes it easier for you to remember what needs to be cleaned that particular week.
Keeping Pests Away
It is important to keep cleaning your kitchen every week as this helps to keep pests away. Make sure you always do professional checks to make sure that they are not getting in anywhere. Make sure that food is kept out of the way of windows and it is stored in a fridge once it has been used, also make sure that it is stored off the ground as if it is not then this could encourage pests.
Keep Your Hands Clean
It is important to keep your hands clean as this is another way that germs can spread. This especially applies if you touch foods that is raw as you could be exposing food to germs. If you also have a virus e.g. a cold then you could be passing on germs that way if you dont keep your hands clean. Always make sure that you regularly wash your hands as this prevents germs from spreading.
Sanitise Everything In Your Kitchen
You need to make sure that you sanitise your worktop and your catering equipment. You can do this by using chemical cleaners which you can find at your local superstore or you can apply heat which gives it long lasting protection against germs and it keeps the risk of contamination low.
